Heelers are my favorite breed. This book was very helpful and full of intersting facts.
Very Useful For Us May 21, 2008
We bought this book after we adopted a little ACD from an animal shelter in March, 2008. It gives very useful information, and is written for the owner who primarily wants them as a family pet. Probably would not be useful for people who want breeding or ranching type information. We know what to expect because the ACDs demand lots of time, but the rewards are great. Intelligence level is extremely high along with the energy level. All of our future dogs will be ACDs.
Great Book February 25, 2008
This is a great book if you plan to get an Australian Cattle Dog (AKA Blue Heeler) or are just curious about this breed of dog. It was very helpful in helpihg me understand how to handle, train and care for my new puppy. As well as explaining the special needs of this breed of dog. Includes many color pictures of these wonderful dogs.

I enjoyed the book. I didn't know to much about Cattle Dogs.Its a good basis for first books. But I was hoping it would have gone into more information then it did.
